Nicole has represented Social Security Disability claimants at the Law Offices of Barbara B. Comerford P.A. since 2018. Prior to that, Nicole handled Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability claims for two and a half years at a long-established firm in New York. After law school, Nicole worked in Legal Services defending homeowners facing foreclosure by seeking resolutions in Supreme and Federal Bankruptcy court. Nicole also advocated for homeowners’ after Hurricane Sandy to get insurance funds released so they could rebuild their homes. Nicole believes that people deserve representation in legal matters and proudly takes pro-bono cases with the Safe Passage Project of New York Law School representing unaccompanied minors in Federal Immigration cases. Nicole is dedicated to representing clients with a compassionate understanding of their circumstances and needs. Nicole Thompson was admitted to the New Jersey bar in April, 2013 and the 2nd Department of New York in July, 2013. Nicole attained her Juris Doctorate at Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey.
